Irena Kocharova is an experienced violin and viola teacher and performer (solo and orchestra) , posses B.A.,M.A., and Ph.D in Music and Arts, which she accomplished in St.Petersburg Academy of Music, Theatre and Cinematography (Russia) in 1982. She has been working in the United States since 1995 as a violin and viola teacher at Meyer Music and Marshall Music Schools and as a player - at West Shore Symphony and different chamber ensembles. Irena is a founder and an active member of “Ash Grove String Quartet”, which originated in Grand Rapids in 1998. She also performes with talented pianist Phil Pletcher. They frequently and successfully perform together at local festivals, museums and other concert stages. Ms. Kocharova dedicated her life to Music and Arts. Her Credo is “ Delight yourself in Music and it will give you desires of your Heart"
